Contacts Staff Training

There is tremendous opportunity to create distinction in the area of contacts within our practices. Currently statistics show the greatest opportunity in the area of Multifocal, followed by Toric. Daily disposable lenses are the future of the industry. It is imperative that we distinguish our practice by giving our patient’s opportunity in the daily modality in their prescription. The drop out rate for contact lens wearers remains at a consistent 19% despite innovation in the industry. Our belief is that we are the problem. If we uncover the silent sufferers and determine the best lens for their future contact lens wear we can change our patients lives and create distinction in our practice. By asking the right questions and listening to our patients we can uncover those who are at risk of dripping out of contact lenses. By improving our skill at fitting specialty contact lenses we have tremendous opportunity in new contact lens fits.
